The 1st and the Original ONLINE MIXING and MASTERING.COM since 2006
Online Mixing and Mastering Profile
DICARLO has worked in many major studios in New York, USA, and Berlin, Germany. (See References) In 2004 he ventured online and joined the music site, (the original) Besonic.com with it´s 144,000 members. Within 6 months he became #1 Artist and Most Reviewed Artist on the site. Besonic.com crashed in October 2004, and DICARLO was in search for a new music site, and found the brand new beautiful flash site (the original) Mixposure.com (a site with over 34,000 members) where he resided as #1 Artist from 2005 to 2007, and received over 3,000 reviews on his songs. All 3000+ reviews were praising his mixing, mastering, and production talents, even if they didn´t particularly like the song. One night DICARLO had a dream about founding a new online production service to help independent artists with their productions. When he woke the next morning the name “Online Mixing and Mastering.com was in his head. He searched the Internet to see, if such a company or domain existed, and there were none with the names Online Mixing, or Online Mastering, so he registered online-mixing-and-mastering.com 2005. One year later on November 1st 2006 the website (the 1st and Original) Online Mixing and Mastering.com was open for business. Over 25% of the people that wrote those praising 3000+ reviews on (the original) Mixposure.com hired DICARLO to mix, master or mix and master their songs, and CD´s. So unlike most starting businesses, there was already an abundance of work from the start. Mixposure.com crashed in late in 2007, and DICARLO joined Ourstage.com, entered contests, and won prizes, money, and lots of awards. www.ourstage.com/dicarlo The names DICARLO, DICARLO PRODUCTIONS, OMM, and Online Mixing and Mastering had grown, and Online Mixing and Mastering.com received 1st page Google rankings for keywords “online mixing”, and “online mixing and mastering” and kept those 1st page rankings for over 4 years. Unfortunately the server Online Mixing and Mastering was with since 2006, was not very professional, and the site was often offline for weeks at a time. Recently Online Mixing and Mastering.com moved to it´s new server, but because the original website hadn´t been updated by the webmaster for many years, we´ve been forced to rebuild the entire site, which brings us to where we are now. Hopefully we will be finished soon, and get our #1 Google rankings back. Since 2006 many other online mixing and mastering services have emerged, and have used our name Online Mixing and Mastering, as their heading, but we were the FIRST. We are the ORIGINAL Online Mixing and Mastering.com.
How It Works
MIXING
In order for us to mix your song, we need:
All tracks individually (mono or stereo) without any effects (unless it´s something you can´t live without) in a 16, 24-bit (floating point) WAV data format. We prefer 24/48 khz tracks bounced at -3 db. Please label each individual track. To avoid sync problems, all tracks should start at the 1111 starting point and continue till the end of the arrangement. In the mixdown we use a combination of analog and digital equipment. The digital mixdown makes a “total reset” possible, so that we can reconstruct every mixdown immediately. With our analog equipment, we create a sound which is still unmatched in the digital world. You have the choice to send us the data online, have us create a Drop Box share folder for you, give us a link where we can download the files, or send us a DVD, CDR by mail. You will receive an MP3 Sample of your mix to approve, before you pay. Should the mix need any further adjustments in your opinion, we will do them (the first time) free of charge. Once you are 100% satisfied, and the payment is in our PayPal account, we will send you the 16 and or 24 bit wav file of the final mix. Note: Please send us the BPM (Tempo) of the song, and an MP3 of the Rough Mix, so we have a general idea how you´re hearing the mix.
MASTERING
In order to Master your song, we need:
A 24 bit/48khz, 16bit/48khz, or 16bit/44.1khz wav file of the mix, (depending on the sample rate you recorded it in) mixed down at -3db to -6db. But we prefer 24bit/48kz for the best quality master. You have the choice to send us the data online, share a Drop Box folder with us, or give us a link where we can download the file(s). You will receive an MP3 Sample of your mastered song to approve, before you pay. Should the master need any further adjustments in your opinion, we will do them (the first time) free of charge. Once you are 100% satisfied, and payment is in our PayPal account, we will send you the 16 and or 24 bit wav file(s) of the final master.
